Personal or Work From Home Speakerphone

I work in UC and have had the opportunity to test MANY speakerphones. My review focuses on the microphones. (Speakers are good too, but not what I have tested). I have over 20 glass surfaces in my home office ranging from desks, to monitors to windows. The Yamaha YVC200 picks up my voice and none of the echos. Far end participants have commented on my voice being full range and with no unwanted artifacts. I actually tested a competing product for a day and had folks ask if I was feeling sick, because I "..didn't sound right". Thank you Yamaha for making such excellent products.

Bottom Line! You will be sorry if you try any other product other than this one.We tested this product in various environments at our home office. We did large rooms, small rooms, and even offices. In each trial the Yamaha YVC-330 USB came through with flying colors.The mics capture and give your audience a clear concise sound. The speaker output for such small foot print device is great. Clear with good volume and doesn't sound like the person on the other end in speaking into a tin can.We purchased four of these. Use it in the Owners Board Room., large Team Rooms, usual conference Rooms, offices, and the Lake House Retreat. In each and every instance Yamaha came through.

I received this as a gift from my husband when setting up teletherapy for my speech therapy practice. He gave me the white one, which is really attractive on my desk. I don't think I have ever seen a white desktop speaker before!Use of headphones is highly recommended for providing speech therapy services due to the need for clarity. However, I was concerned about the children I work with being distracted by seeing me wear them on video. Also, I find headphones uncomfortable when worn for an extended period of time. The YVC200 has solved this problem for me. Not only can my clients hear me well, the audio from the speaker is way better than the speaker from my PC. Another benefit, between sessions I can stream music from the speaker via Bluetooth. With the battery in it, I can take it outside and listen to music on the deck. It is small, lightweight and portable, and has a nice carrying case. I look forward to taking it with me when I travel to conferences to use as a speaker phone in my hotel room. Set up was extremely easy and it has worked flawlessly!

The Yamaha YVC-200 has crystal clear audio! It blows the competition for other speakers out of the water. You can even hook up the YVC-200 to your laptop and listen to audio or conference anywhere! It's so compact and doesn't take up much space either!
