Video conferencing has become a key form of communication in several countries. From Tanzania to India and now Afghanistan, conferencing is improving communications and connecting users around the world.

Recently free conference calling services were launched in Afghanistan via The new technology enables businesses and communities to access local and global conference calling for free.

This was the first conferencing provider present in the country and existed in partnership with local operators. Local operator partners in Afghanistan can benefit from immediate entry into the conferencing market, with increased network traffic and no capital expense.

The telecommunications sector in the country has grown into a $1.81 billion per year industry, according to USAID, and set to grow more, as over 32 million people in Afghanistan can now make conference calls.

Growth into these markets is great for everyone involved. The mobile service prodivers are able to add new sustainable revenue streams to their business and the availability of cost-free conferencing is a great way to change the way users across the globe are able to communicate.
