SUDBURY, Mass. — Nov. 28, 2012 — Revolabs Inc. today announced that the company has signed a distribution agreement with Business Octane, an enterprise collaboration and learning accelerator solution provider based in Gurgaon, India. Under the agreement, Business Octane will be the master distributor of the Revolabs FLX™ wireless conference phone in the Indian market.

“With its proliferation of Global Fortune 500 and multinational companies, the penetration of the Indian market is a key step as we continue to extend the reach of our FLX and other wireless audio solutions across the globe,” said Roshan Gupta, country manager for India and the Middle East at Revolabs. “With its network of resellers and reputation for quality and innovation, Business Octane is uniquely positioned to provide us with greater access to these customers and firmly establish our FLX in the Indian enterprise collaboration market. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with the company.”

“To meet the needs of senior executives, our resellers require audio conferencing solutions that combine exceptional audio quality with unmatched flexibility,” said Sanjay Bansal, chairman and managing director at Business Octane. “By teaming up with the industry’s wireless audio leader and adding the FLX wireless conference phone to our portfolio of enterprise audio collaboration accelerator solutions, we are able to meet both of these needs with one stylish, easy-to-use solution that is at home on the desk and in the conference room.”

For Business Octane’s resellers, the FLX combines wireless operation with high-quality wideband audio, 128-bit encryption, and integrated Bluetooth®. Unlike the single-component design of other solutions, the systems consist of several distinct components, giving users unprecedented freedom with respect to placement and accessibility of the speaker, microphones, and dial pad. Because its dialer operates like a telephone for handset calls, the FLX eliminates the need for a separate desk and conference phone. The FLX is available with a variety of Revolabs microphones, including lapel, omnidirectional, and directional tabletop versions.

Available in analog or VoIP interfaces, the Revolabs FLX is the first and only wireless conference phone designed for VoIP networks. Ideal for conference rooms, executive offices, and SoHo environments, the FLX integrates directly with most IP telephone switches following the SIP standard, enabling new features only available through digital switch environments  such as voicemail alerts and “do not disturb.” The ideal unified communication technology, the FLX can serve as the audio interface for virtually any major brand of video conferencing equipment.
